Get Burned and Like It by Disgruntled Dan

It's just this kind of tailgating that causes road rage.

Burnout Legends for the PSP.
Wow. Oh, sorry. It’s me, Disgruntled Dan again. And Im saying "wow" about my new Burnout Legends for my PSP (shameless advertising). It's great (thumbs up). But seriously, it's fun.

It gets away from the whole realistic, boring, slow car games that made me hate car games like Grand Turismo and Project Gotham Racing. But I was sitting around when my friend took out his PSP and I was intrigued by this perplexing game where cars crash. And guess what he told me? It was Burnout Legends for the PSP.

For maybe 6 months I've had a hunk of plastic wires and glass with a PSP label on it sitting around my bedroom. Then I got Burnout Legends for my PSP and "wow." Now I can’t put my PSP down (2 thumbs up and a smile =D).

Anyways, it has several delightfully destructive modes like "crash" where you crash other cars to get money. The more money you get the more cars you unlock.

Next is my favorite… Road Rage. The objective is to see how many take downs you can get before you total your car.

Then there’s race and time attack but, that’s regular car game stuff. Bohhhr-ing.

And they have a good soundtrack with songs from Yellow Card, Finch, Gold Finger, OK GO, The Outline, Emanuel, Nine Black Alps, Animal Alpha, Billy Talent, The Black Velvets, Junk XL, Morning Wood, Mindless self Indulgence, Dead 60’s and many more (yes there’s more).

So if you have a PSP or the money to buy a PSP, then go get one and this game.

Peace. I'm out y'all.

ABOUT OUR WRITERS

Disgruntled Dan
Old Danny Boy is not happy. Not happy at all. The state of comics, movies and video games is falling way short of his expectations. Check out Disgruntled Dan's
Letters of Discontent here — new letters every month.

Afro Thunder
A man with crazy Kung-Fu abilities and even crazier hair. But please, don't confuse yourself into thinking he's Jewish, or Arabian, or anything other than a curly-haired, half white, half mexican ninja. He also gives the whole low-down on games and movies, but avoids reviewing comics (he's loves 'em, but can't tell you what he thinks of 'em).

Mike-oh
Mike-oh works for an advertising agency which explains his need for all of the escapism he uses to soak up his spare time. At least he spends some of that time sharing his thoughts with us on his various distractions.
