Scientist/Doctor/Detective/Freak by Afro Thunder

Sleepy Hollow.
I just got a hold of Sleepy Hollow, the one with Johnny Depp, not the cartoon version, and I must say, it’s thoroughly freaky. Now, I’ve got this attraction to creepy and semi-gothic things, so I found this movie fairly enjoyable, especially since Tim Burton directed it. The story is more elaborate than the cartoon, and the movie is a lot more graphic too. Johnny Depp plays Ichabod Crane, who is a scientist/doctor/detective of the 18th century. Ichabod feels that since a new century is dawning, that their medieval ways of punishment and investigation are inadequate and new forms of these things are in order. But, no one wants to listen to poor Mr. Crane, so he’s sent off to Sleepy Hollow to investigate three murders all of which involved decapitation and the removal of the head. Now, I can’t say too much, because then the story will be ruined, but I will say that it’s a good mystery, full of Tim Burton’s same old comedy, a bit of romance, creepy memories, and good action. And to top it off, Christopher Walken plays the headless horseman. I thoroughly enjoyed the memory and highly recommend it. A 5 out of 5.

Afro Thunder
A man with crazy Kung-Fu abilities and even crazier hair. But please, don't confuse yourself into thinking he's Jewish, or Arabian, or anything other than a curly-haired, half white, half mexican ninja. He also gives the whole low-down on games and movies, but avoids reviewing comics (he's loves 'em, but can't tell you what he thinks of 'em).

Mike-oh
Mike-oh works for an advertising agency which explains his need for all of the escapism he uses to soak up his spare time. At least he spends some of that time sharing his thoughts with us on his various distractions.
