Aeon Kitchen and the City of Perfection by Afro Thunder

Aeon Flux.
Aeon Flux was a movie I had always wanted. One that would be creative, original and so visually stunning, it distracted you from all other aspects. Now, when I reflected back upon the movie, I realized that the plot was only so-so, the acting was steady, and the characters were up to par. But a good movie has to be above par and excellent in all aspects. The movie wasn’t given justice; it could have been so much more as long as it stayed in a similar environment. The only thing that makes me believe it was better than most other movies was its incredible landscape and amazing graphics. Both the city and the outside (which you didn’t see enough of) were very well done. I especially liked the white laboratory, which would be just like my kitchen in my dream house (just with food instead of weird chemicals and lab stuff). So, I give Aeon Flux a 3...out of 5.

City of Heroes.
Now, I don’t understand what all you people’s problem is. When a game decides to be original in its thinking and goes a little off the beaten path, it doesn’t make it a bad game. In fact it makes it a great game and its time that this game was given credit where credit is due. Now, I personally haven’t played WoW (World of Warcraft) so if your silly fantasy game outdoes my colossal comic book world, I’m sorry, but I have closed my eyes to all others so I can see with eyes unclouded by nerdiness (I myself am not a nerd, but if you feel like classifying me as something derogatory, please simply call me a comic book geek). This fact may affect why I praise this game, but it is irrelevant at this point.

City of Heroes has an excellent foundation, and only gets better with every update. In the beginning it had no PvP action, which I believe set many people off. But those loyal enough got to experience greatness. The costume design became better, allowing characters to wear anything from Bug eyes to Gi’s (which my character Mastr Chi was sorely in need of). AS well, the mission design became better, and the newest addition of stopping fires was a great new turn from the old smash and bash. Also, from the very start, the action response was incredible. If you punched someone it looked like you punched them; if they dodged an attack they would turn their body; when they were disoriented, their body would go limp, and they would walk around dizzily; when they were frozen their head and arms would go up to try and escape the hold, and the newest addition is my favorite: the rag doll affect for everyone from villains to heroes. As well, I enjoy the quick and easy leveling, I am not forced to stay on for long hours, with blood-shot eyes, and no life to have. I can just log in, beat up whoever I feel is worthy of my attention, then go to a party in real life, where there are real people, instead of your virtual little elf friends who seem to never change. I could go on forever about how great City of Heroes is, but that would take up too much of my free time, and I’m busy with all my free time. City of Heroes gets a 5…out of 5.

But please, don't confuse yourself into thinking he's Jewish, or Arabian, or anything other than a curly-haired, half white, half mexican ninja. He also gives the whole low-down on games and movies, but avoids reviewing comics (he's loves 'em, but can't tell you what he thinks of 'em).
